From the Golf Shop…
Welcome Back! We hope everyone had a healthy and enjoyable winter. Spring is near and we can’t wait to see you
out on the course again. The snow always melts quickly in the spring and we will be ready to open at the earliest
possible date. Our new electric carts will be out when conditions allow. The range will open as early as March 15th
and if conditions allow, will remain open through the season. We will be using “mats only” when it is very wet and
may restrict distances and targets if necessary due to balls plugging. Range balls will also be available around the
putting and chipping greens.
We are pleased to have Don First and Ryan Jones returning as our assistant professionals and it appears as
though our entire bagroom staff is returning in 2009.
The Golf Shop will open on a daily basis no later than March 15th. If we can help you in any way prior to our official
opening, please call the office, leave a message and I will be happy to return your call. Be sure to check your grips
and your spikes prior to traveling or beginning your golf season. We offer great service, a mix of quality merchandise
and very fair prices. Club fitting is available at no cost and we have demo’s in many products, please stop in and try
them. Taylor Made and Titleist drivers and woods are receiving lots of positive discussion in the golf circles. Leopold
and Garmin range finders are new to our shop this year. Our spring Under Armour order has already arrived and our
Cutter and Buck order will be coming in soon.
Golf lessons are available by appointment. All professionals have slightly different styles of teaching but each of our
different styles is based on the fundamentals of golf. We encourage you to work on your game both on and off the
course. Putt on the carpet, watch golf on television, begin a stretching program and think about the lower scores that
you are sure to shoot this year.
